Short presentation of the MAV.

A low cost platform, build with extruded polystyrene foam (Depron, as the name of the team DepronaZzi). Quick building with no specifics tools. All the pieces are hand cut (laser CNC cut possible).

Classic flying wing with two elevons control (elevator and roll). Servomechanism and receiver from modeller technology. Propulsion using brushless outrunner motor. APC E slow propeller. Prop safe adaptator. Lithium Ion Polymer batteries (2 series).

Autonomous flight with PaparaZzi equipment with GPS navigation. Four IR sensor (based on FMA sensor) for stabilization. Specific equipment with gyro-stabilized camera mounting on a double axis realized with small servomechanism (Modified 6 g servos, to give them amplitude.), the camera always pointing a fixed point during the flight.
